Estimate the extra charges on top of your property's price — with every rate editable, because these change with state policy.
Stamp duty and registration charges are calculated as a percentage of the property's value — specifically, the higher of the actual transaction price or the government-notified DLC (District Level Committee) rate for that area, not simply what you agreed to pay the seller. This calculator multiplies your entered property value by the stamp duty rate and registration rate you select or enter, and adds them together.
Beyond stamp duty and registration, budget separately for any legal/documentation fees, and — for under-construction properties — applicable GST, which this calculator doesn't include.
